"Dan Huang Su" - is a popular Taiwanese mooncake with a Huaiyang-style flaky layers of laminated pastry stuffed with a sweet filling and salted egg yolk exploding of rich layers of sweet and salty taste. Mooncakes are eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival, because mooncakes just like the full moon on that day symbolise family reunion. The appearance of the egg yolk pastry is very similar to the full moon, so it gradually becomes one of the most popular gift choice on Mid-Autumn Festival.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, water, vegetable oil, sugar, adzuki bean, Black Sesame, Sesame Oil, salt, Egg.
Purple - purple sweet potato powder.
Green - matcha green tea powder.

Instruction:
To be refrigerated and consume within 7 days or frozen for few months, best served warm for that extra flakiness in oven for 10 minutes 180 degrees Celsius. Paired fantastically with a pot of Chinese tea.
